Ingredients

Whole Organic Medjool Dates
Mitica Marcona Almonds
Parmesan cheese, thinly sliced
La Quercia Prosciutto, thinly sliced

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 400°; evenly coat one cookie sheet with nonstick spray.

2. Carefully slice each date by cutting from the middle of the fruit lengthwise along the top to the middle of the other side.

3. Insert one to two almonds (depending on size) and a thin slice of Parmesan cheese into the center of the date, allowing for the open end to close.

4. Wrap each date with prosciutto, securing with a toothpick if desired. Place on the cookie sheet.

5. Bake 10 to 15 minutes; serve warm.
