What’s your go-to favorite meal to make?
Vegetarian grinder sandwiches or pizza of any kind.

What is one piece of advice you have for someone who is making a dish for a get-together?

When did you start at Gateway Market?
February 2011

What are your hobbies?
I love reading. I usually have two or three books going at the same time. I also love being outdoors working in my garden or just hanging out on my patio with friends and family.

Why do you recommend people shop local?
Shopping local supports the communities that we live and work in. The quality and flavor of locally produced goods is usually superior.

What’s your go-to favorite meal to make?
We like to keep it simple and get the most out of our grill during the spring and summer months. My go-to would probably be grilled chops or steaks with grilled fresh veggies or new potatoes.

What is one piece of advice you have for someone who is making a dish for a get-together?
Keep it simple! Choose great ingredients and use recipes and cooking methods that enhance the natural flavor of the ingredient. Don’t worry so much about impressing. This just creates a lot of stress for you, which isn’t any fun for anyone.
